Four Nepali pilgrims killed in road mishap in India



DANG: Four people from Tulasipur in Dang district died in a road accident in India while on a pilgrimage to various holy places there.

The accident took place when a jeep (UP 31 AC 7200) met with an accident at Baharaich of India on Thursday evening in course of heading towards India from Tulasipur for pilgrimage.

The deceased have been identified as jeep driver 37-year-old Yubraj Chapagain of Parseni in Tulasipur sub-metropolis-7 and Jit Bahadur Oli of the same ward, said ward chairperson Ram Bahadur GC.

However, identities of other two deceased have not been ascertained yet. Nine people were travelling in the jeep and all of them were from Tulasipur.

Other five passengers were injured in the incident and they are undergoing treatment in India.
