Three flights diverted to India and China due to low visibility

KATHMANDU: Three flights arriving in Nepal have been diverted due to low visibility at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

A Nepal Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was diverted to New Delhi, India.

Similarly, a Sichuan Airlines flight from Tianfu was diverted to Lhasa, China, and a Qatar Airways flight from Doha was redirected to Kolkata, India.

However, the airport confirmed that six other flights have successfully landed at Tribhuvan Airport, including those from Himalaya Airlines, Air India, Viman Bangladesh, China Southern, and others.
