Socialist Front to host interaction program on national politics



KATHMANDU: The Socialist Front, a coalition of four political parties including the CPN-Maoist Center, is organizing a significant interaction program today.

The event, titled Current National Political Situation and the Task of the Socialist Front Nepal,’ is scheduled to begin at 12 noon at the Nepal Pragya Pratishthan in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

Originally planned for Martyrs’ Day on January 29, the event has been moved up by one day, following a decision made during the front’s meeting on January 15.

The Socialist Front, established on June 19, 2023, comprises the Maoist Center, Unified Socialist, Nepal Samajwadi Party, and the Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal.

The program is expected to focus on the current political landscape and the front’s role and responsibilities within it.
