Preparations for Parliament session in full swing

Meeting of Business Advisory Committee taking place



KATHMANDU; Preparations for the winter session of the Federal Parliament, set to begin on January 31, are in full swing, with Speaker Devraj Ghimire taking a proactive role.

To ensure smooth proceedings, Speaker Ghimire has convened a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee today, which will be held at Singha Durbar at 1 pm.

Additionally, Speaker Ghimire is holding separate discussions with the chairpersons of parliamentary committees that have pending bills, according to his press coordinator, Shekhar Adhikari.

On Monday, Speaker Ghimire also engaged in discussions with the chief whips and whips of various political parties at Singha Durbar.

Earlier, he had similar meetings with the chief whips and whips of both the ruling and opposition parties on Sunday.
