Clashes erupt between two groups in Harinagar, Sunsari; joint patrol with army deployed to prevent violence



SUNSARI: A clash broke out between two groups in Ramnagar Bhutaha of Harinagar Rural Municipality-2, Sunsari, on Sunday night.

Following the incident, security has been tightened in the area. The dispute reportedly began over a dice game and escalated into a physical confrontation, injuring 11 people.

To prevent further violence, joint patrol teams comprising the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police have been mobilized.

According to local authorities, the area has been placed under high alert, with continuous joint patrols underway in Harinagar Ward No. 2.

Security agencies, already conducting regular joint patrols across the district since the Gen-Z movement, have intensified surveillance in Bhutaha Bazaar to maintain peace and order.
