KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has issued a weather alert for several provinces, warning of moderate to heavy rainfall in both hilly and Terai regions this afternoon and night.
Widespread cloud cover is expected across the country, with Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Madhes provinces likely to be most affected by rain-related activities.
One or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces may experience heavy rain.
For tonight, the forecast indicates continued cloudy weather in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, with partly cloudy skies expected elsewhere.
Moderate rain is likely in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in a few other regions. There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two locations in both the hills and the Terai regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
