Gold prices up slightly



KATHMANDU: The price of gold saw a modest increase while silver declined in the domestic market on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 100 per tola, reaching Rs 189,700. On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 189,600 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver fell by Rs 10 and is now being traded at Rs 1,990 per tola.

The slight fluctuation in precious metal prices comes amid ongoing global and regional market trends.
