KATHMANDU: The Socialist Front has revealed the routes for its upcoming protest scheduled for tomorrow (March 28), aimed at countering the growing influence of royalists in Nepal.

The front, consisting of parties like the CPN Maoist Center, CPN Unified Socialist Party, Biplav-led CPN, and Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP), will hold a street protest starting from Bhrikuti Mandap.

The protests will include multiple rallies organized by the involved parties, with the CPN Maoist Center leading a major rally from Maitighar Mandala. This procession will move through Babarmahal, Thapathali, Tripureshwor, Shahid Gate, and Bhadrakali.

In addition, the Maoist Center has planned several other movements, including a procession from Kupandol through Tripureshwor, Sundhara, New Road Gate, Shanti Batika, and Old Bus Park. Another team will join the Sundhara rally via the same route.

The NSP will also lead a march from New Road Gate, converging at Bhotahiti and continuing via Bishwajwati Hall, Ghantaghar, Putalisadak, and Padmodayamod. Similarly, processions will also be taken out from Shanti Batika, Maitidevi, and other areas in Kathmandu, including the CPN-UML rally through Maitidevi and Putalisadak.

The royalist forces are expected to hold their own program in Kathmandu, adding to the anticipation of busy streets and heavy traffic in the city tomorrow.
