Rain likely in Gandaki and Koshi provinces today



KATHMANDU: Currently, the country is experiencing the partial influence of local winds along with the westerly wind.

As of Thursday morning, the weather in hilly regions, including Koshi and Gandaki provinces, remains partially cloudy, while the rest of the country has mostly clear skies, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces today.

Additionally, light snowfall is expected in one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, as per the latest bulletin issued by the Division.

The Division has warned that rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms could have a minor impact on daily life, agriculture, health, road, and air transport.

Authorities have advised people to take necessary precautions to minimize any potential effects.
