Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates applicable for Saturday. As per the update, one US dollar is being bought at NPR 136.43 and sold at NPR 137.03.

The euro is priced at NPR 155.05 for buying and NPR 155.73 for selling, while the British pound stands at NPR 181.64 and NPR 182.44, respectively. The Swiss franc is set at NPR 164.67 (buying) and NPR 165.40 (selling).

Other notable rates include: the Australian dollar at NPR 87.07 (buying) and NPR 87.45 (selling); the Canadian dollar at NPR 98.28 and NPR 98.71; and the Singapore dollar at NPR 103.81 and NPR 104.26.

Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are valued at NPR 9.52 for buying and NPR 9.56 for selling. The Chinese yuan is fixed at NPR 18.72 and NPR 18.80. The Saudi riyal is trading at NPR 36.37 (buying) and NPR 36.53 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is listed at NPR 37.43 and NPR 37.59.

The exchange rate for the Thai baht is NPR 4.07 for buying and NPR 4.09 for selling. Similarly, the UAE dirham is priced at NPR 37.14 and NPR 37.31, and the Malaysian ringgit at NPR 31.19 and NPR 31.33.

Additionally, 100 South Korean won are set at NPR 9.48 (buying) and NPR 9.52 (selling), the Swedish kronor at NPR 14.08 and NPR 14.14, and the Danish kronor at NPR 20.77 and NPR 20.86.

The Hong Kong dollar is valued at NPR 17.59 for buying and NPR 17.67 for selling. High-value currencies such as the Kuwaiti dinar are set at NPR 444.93 (buying) and NPR 446.89 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at NPR 361.95 and NPR 363.54, and the Omani rial at NPR 354.34 and NPR 355.90.

For Indian currency, 100 Indian rupees are being exchanged at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
