Dasharath Stadium packed with Nepali supporters



KATHMANDU: The tickets for the Nepal vs. Myanmar match in the International Women’s Championship were sold out two and a half hours before kickoff.

With the Nepali women’s football team aiming for their first international title, a massive crowd of supporters gathered at Dasharath Stadium. The tickets were completely sold out by 3:30 PM, ahead of the 6:00 PM kickoff.

According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), 1,250 VIP tickets and 10,500 general tickets were sold.

By an hour before the match, the stadium was already filled with around 11,000 fans, waving Nepali flags and holding banners with the names of players like Sabitra Bhandari and Preeti Rai.
