Tata Curve EV launched in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading, the official distributor of Tata EVs in Nepal, unveiled the top variant of the Tata Curve EV at the ‘Tata EV: Charged for the Future’ event held in Kathmandu.

Sipradi CEO Rajan Babu Shrestha and Tata Motors International Business Head Yash Khandelwal were at the launch event.

The premium variant of the Tata Curve EV is priced at Rs 56.99 lakh.

Alongside the Curve EV, Tata also announced the commencement of deliveries for the Nexon K3 EV and Tiago EV 2025 models in Nepal.

Speaking at the event, Yash Khandelwal highlighted Tata’s commitment to enhancing the EV ecosystem in Nepal.

“Tata EV: Charged for the Future reaffirms Tata’s commitment to strengthening the entire EV ecosystem in Nepal. Our aim is to make a positive contribution towards the electrification of the Nepali transport system through new and quality products,” he said.

Rajan Babu Shrestha added, “We are confident that the Curve EV will be the choice of customers looking for a premium SUV as it has a premium EV design, premium feel, safety features, excellent sound system and most importantly, a premium vehicle that suits the Nepalese roads.”

The Tata Curve EV is equipped with a 55 kWh battery pack, offering a testing range of 380 km in Nepal. It features a 98 kW motor and can be driven in Eco, City, and Sport modes, catering to various driving preferences.

The launch of the Curve EV is seen as a significant step in Tata’s ongoing effort to promote electric mobility in Nepal, reflecting the growing demand for eco-friendly and advanced automotive technology in the region.
