Two killed, two injured in tractor accident in Dhading



DHADING: Two youths lost their lives, and two others were injured when a tractor carrying water tankers overturned near the Gupteshwori Temple in Galchhi Rural Municipality-3 of Dhading last night.

According to the District Police Office, Dhading, the deceased have been identified as Prashant Chepang (18) and Jayaram Chepang (20) from Gajuri Rural Municipality-6.

The injured, Shirish Chepang (19) and Suresh Chepang (17), also from Gajuri Rural Municipality-6, have been referred to Kathmandu for treatment.

The accident occurred when the tractor, transporting water from Adamghat to the Gupteshwori Temple (vehicle number Bagmati Pradesh 01-004 Ka 3352), overturned.

All four individuals were on board the tanker.

The tractor driver, Dinesh Chepang (23) of Gajuri Rural Municipality-6, has been taken into custody by the police for further investigation.
