Pregnant woman airlifted from Doti to Surkhet health facility



DIPAYAL: A 23-year-old pregnant woman from Badikedar rural municipality-5 of Doti district has been airlifted by the Nepali Army helicopter to the provincial hospital in Surkhet.

Expectant mother Bishna Devi Punmagar lost her consciousness owing to prolonged labour pain while being at a local health facility, Seudikhet, Doti.

Hence she was provided free air rescue by the government, said Chief District Officer of Doti, Mohanraj Joshi.
