Security chiefs meet at Prime Minister’s residence



KATHMANDU: A high-level meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Saturday to review the country’s current security situation and discuss necessary measures.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Home Secretary Rameshwar Dangal, and chiefs of all four security agencies, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

During the meeting, the security chiefs briefed the Prime Minister on the existing situation and ongoing security arrangements.

Speaking after the meeting, Home Minister Aryal said, “We have thoroughly analyzed the current security situation. We have received information that various groups are preparing for demonstrations. Everyone is free to put forth their political demands in a responsible manner.”
