Koteshwor police sector reinstated with prayers, officers welcomed with garlands (Photos)

KATHMANDU: The Police Sector Koteshwor, damaged during the vandalism and arson of September 9, has been rebuilt and reinstated.

On Thursday, a special prayer ceremony was held before police personnel resumed duty. The officers were welcomed with garlands, and tributes were paid to those who lost their lives in the line of duty.

During the Gen-Z protests, hundreds of police posts across the country were torched. Many of them are now being reconstructed with the support of local communities and donors.
