Govt launches hotline to report delays, corruption in key ministries



KATHMANDU: The Ministries of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Urban Development, and Physical Infrastructure and Transport have launched dedicated hotlines to allow citizens to report delays, bribery demands, or other forms of misconduct in their offices.

The initiative enables service users to lodge complaints directly if they face obstruction, unnecessary hardship, or disrespectful behavior from ministry staff, departments, or subordinate offices.

For complaints related to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, citizens can call 01–4211511 or use the hotline 1151. Complaints concerning the Ministry of Urban Development can be made at 01–420001, while those related to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport can be directed to 01–421172.
