One-way traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway

DHADING: Vehicular movement along the Prithvi Highway has resumed after landslides at Jwankhola and Tingarangkhani in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality–10 blocked the road earlier.

According to Suraj Shrestha, Inspector at the District Traffic Police Office, Gajuri, the landslides had deposited a large volume of mud and rocks on the road, halting traffic in both directions.

Authorities have now cleared the debris, allowing one-way traffic. Thousands of vehicles stranded along the route have started moving toward their destinations.
