Maoist Center holding Central Committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: The Maoist Centre is convening its Central Committee meeting today at 11 a.m. at Pragya Bhawan in Kamaladi.

Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is set to present the political report during the session, a party source said.

Key issues on the agenda include discussions on the proposed special general convention, preparations for the general elections slated for March 5, 2026, party unification efforts, and strategies for relief, reconstruction, mass mobilization, and public outreach.

The meeting will also feature a tribute to those who lost their lives during the Gen Z movement.
