Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs. 141.61, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 142.21.

The euro is being bought at Rs. 166.40 and sold at Rs. 167.10. One British pound sterling is being bought at Rs. 190.65 and sold at Rs. 191.46. The buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs. 178.41, with a selling rate of Rs. 178.89.

Among other major currencies, one Australian dollar is being bought at Rs. 93.51 and sold at Rs. 93.91, while the Canadian dollar is valued at Rs. 102.04 (buying) and Rs. 102.47 (selling). The Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs. 110 and sold at Rs. 110.47.

Similarly, in Asian currencies, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.54 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.58. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.87 and sold at Rs. 19.95. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs. 37.75 (buying) and Rs. 37.91 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs. 38.85 (buying) and Rs. 39.02 (selling).

Similarly, one Thai baht is being traded at Rs. 4.42 (buying) and Rs. 4.44 (selling). The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs. 38.55 and sold at Rs. 38.72. The Malaysian ringgit is priced at Rs. 33.64 (buying) and Rs. 33.78 (selling), while 100 South Korean won are valued at Rs. 10.11 (buying) and Rs. 10.16 (selling).

Furthermore, the Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs. 18.21 for buying and Rs. 18.29 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 464.75 and sold at Rs. 466.72. The Bahraini dinar is priced at Rs. 375.58 (buying) and Rs. 377.17 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs. 367.80 (buying) and Rs. 368.36 (selling). The rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at Rs. 160 (buying) and Rs. 160.15 (selling).

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to revision and may vary from the rates set by commercial banks. The most updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
