Cooperative victims stage semi-nude protest demanding savings return

KATHMANDU: Cooperative victims staged a semi-nude protest at Maitighar on Sunday, demanding the return of their savings.

Unlike the previous protest where women had led a similar semi-nude demonstration, this time it was the male victims who took off their shirts, while women joined in by banging metal plates.

Protesters carried placards with various demands and warned authorities not to underestimate their movement.
