Flights resume at Taksar Airport after three-month hiatus

KATHMANDU: Flights have resumed at Taksar Airport in Bhojpur Municipality-12 after a three-month suspension.

Nepal Airlines Corporation has restarted operations at the airport, which had been closed since December.

Prakash Khadka, station chief of Nepal Airlines Corporation Bhojpur, confirmed that flights will now operate according to a new schedule.

The suspension of flights had caused difficulties for patients and passengers traveling to Kathmandu from the district hospital.

Currently, one of Nepal Airlines’ two small aircraft is undergoing maintenance, and the airline has stated that flight operations will become more efficient once the repairs are completed.
