Two dead four injured in SUV accident in Baitadi



KATHMANDU: Two people have lost their lives following a jeep accident this morning in Madaula, Sigas Rural Municipality-1, Baitadi.

The victims, 14-year-old Jayanti Dhami and 19-year-old Parbati Dhami, both from the same municipality, succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment.

In addition to the fatalities, four others—Tulsi Dhami, 40, Nira Dhami, 16, Kamala Dhami, 18, and Dhauli Dhami, 14—sustained injuries in the accident. The injured individuals are currently undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital.

The driver of the jeep is reported to have fled the scene and remains at large. Police are investigating the incident.
