Gen-Z group protests outside PM’s office after failing to meet Prime Minister Karki

KATHMANDU: A group of Gen-Z activists staged a protest at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office on Monday after failing to meet Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

The group, led by Miraj Dhungana and Sudan Gurung, had come to submit a memorandum highlighting alleged nepotism by the Prime Minister’s personal secretary, Adarsha Shrestha, who reportedly appointed relatives and his spouse to government positions.

According to the activists, they were unable to meet the Prime Minister as no appointment was granted, prompting them to raise slogans and express their frustration outside the office premises.
