KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released today’s official foreign exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 141.72, while the selling rate is NPR 142.32.
The Euro is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 167.14 and a selling rate of NPR 167.85. For the British Pound Sterling, the buying rate stands at NPR 191.50 and the selling rate at NPR 192.31. Similarly, the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 178.82 and a selling rate of NPR 179.57.
The Australian Dollar is being exchanged at NPR 93.66 (buying) and NPR 94.05 (selling), while the Canadian Dollar is fixed at NPR 102.49 (buying) and NPR 102.93 (selling). The Singapore Dollar stands at NPR 110.43 for buying and NPR 110.90 for selling.
For the Japanese Yen, the buying rate for 10 yen is NPR 9.59 and the selling rate is NPR 9.63. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 19.93 and a selling rate of NPR 20.01.
Likewise, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is being exchanged at NPR 37.78 (buying) and NPR 37.94 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal is set at NPR 38.88 and NPR 39.05, respectively. The Thai Baht stands at NPR 4.45 for buying and NPR 4.47 for selling.
The UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 38.58 and a selling rate of NPR 38.75. The Malaysian Ringgit is at NPR 33.75 (buying) and NPR 33.90 (selling).
For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is NPR 10.16 and the selling rate is NPR 10.21. The Swedish Kronor is traded at NPR 15.22 (buying) and NPR 15.29 (selling), while the Danish Kronor is at NPR 22.39 and NPR 22.49, respectively.
The Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 18.23 (buying) and NPR 18.31 (selling). The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 465.11 and a selling rate of NPR 467.08. The Bahraini Dinar is fixed at NPR 375.87 (buying) and NPR 377.46 (selling), while the Omani Rial is set at NPR 368.08 and NPR 369.63.
Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to change as needed. The rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the most up-to-date rates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
