Ambulance meets with accident in Tinkune



KATHMANDU: An ambulance belonging to the Nepal Red Cross Society (Ja 1 Cha 1766) met with an accident at around 10 PM last night in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hari Khatiwada of the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor, the ambulance crashed into a road divider while returning from Dumja, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1, Sindhuli, after dropping off a patient at Teku Hospital.

Only the driver was in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The driver, Durga Koirala, sustained minor injuries and has been taken to the hospital for treatment, police confirmed.
