Far Western University inks partnership with South Korean University for engineering collaboration

KATHMANDU: Far Western University’s Faculty of Engineering has exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Electronic and AI System Engineering at Kangwon National University in South Korea, establishing a partnership for academic and research cooperation.

The MoU was signed by Professor Dr. Wang Cho, Head of the Department at Kangwon University, and Kisan Dutta BhattQ, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Far Western University.

The exchange took place in the presence of Far Western University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Hemraj Pant.

Aimed at fostering long-term academic and research collaboration, the agreement outlines provisions for conducting joint research projects, preparing joint proposals for research, and organizing academic programs such as seminars, conferences, and workshops.

The understanding will remain effective for a period of five years. During this time, both universities have pledged to advance their cooperation based on mutual trust, friendly relations, and shared interests.
