Top leaders of major parties hold talks on transitional justice



KATHMANDU: Top leaders of Nepal’s three major parties are holding discussions to address issues related to transitional justice.

Leaders from the ruling Nepali Congress, the UML, and the main opposition CPN-Maoist Center have gathered at Singha Durbar for the meeting.

Ruling party Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and opposition leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal arrived to meet UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The discussions are taking place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, focusing on transitional justice and other contemporary political issues.

Prior to the meeting, Maoist Center Chair Dahal visited Sheetal Niwas to meet President Ram Chandra Paudel.
