Only son abducted and killed in Siraha, 8 including relatives arrested

SIRAHA: The body of a 15-year-old boy, missing for three days after being abducted, has been found in Siraha.

Police confirmed that Abhishek Singh, a resident of Golbazaar Municipality-13, Dangraha, was abducted and killed. His mutilated body was discovered Tuesday morning near his home, under a mango tree, after locals noticed a foul smell.

According to preliminary police reports, his legs showed peeled skin, his body was covered in bruises, and he may have been burned or attacked with acid after the murder.

Abhishek, the only son of his family, had stepped out of his house after dinner on Sunday night and never returned. The following morning, abductors sent a ransom demand of Rs 50 million  through his mother’s IMO account.

Despite immediate complaints to police, the boy could not be rescued. His father had died of electrocution seven years ago, and Abhishek had left school to support his family by driving a cycle rickshaw and tractor.

The killing has shocked Dangraha village, with residents expressing fear and grief.

Meanwhile, police have arrested eight suspects, including relatives and neighbors of the victim, for alleged involvement in the abduction and murder. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
