25-year-old dies of electrocution in Syangja



WALING: A 25-year-old man died of electrocution in Putalibazar-9, Kolma, on Saturday afternoon.

According to Syangja District Police Office Spokesperson Prasanna Raj Chaudhary, the deceased has been identified as Arun Kumar Chaudhary of Rangpur, Gujra Municipality-1, Rautahat. He had been working with Pokhara Fiber Net.

Chaudhary, who had been living in a rented room at Thadoline in Putalibazar-1, was injured while climbing an electricity pole for internet maintenance. The aluminum ladder he used came into contact with a live wire.

He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. Police said an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
