SURKHET: Three people have gone missing after a tipper fell into the Bheri River last night.

The tipper (Ra 1 Ka 1501), owned by Yeti Builders and working on the Bheri Corridor from Dalli in Nalgad Municipality, Jajarkot to Rimna in Jajarkot, plunged into the river at Pipalchaur, Aathbiskot-14, Rukum Paschim, according to Deputy Inspector of Police Shiu Kumar Chaudhary of the Area Police Office, Rimna.

Three individuals, including the driver, were on board, but their current condition remains unknown.

Deputy Inspector Chaudhary said police teams from both Rukum Paschim and Jajarkot have been deployed to search for the missing persons.

However, the search efforts are hampered by the high water levels in the Bheri River. The police have not disclosed the names or addresses of those missing.
