Raghuji Pant appointed Minister of Education, Science and Technology

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reshuffled the Cabinet.

On Wednesday, he appointed CPN-UML lawmaker Raghuji Pant as the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, filling the vacancy left after Bidhya Bhattarai resigned from the post earlier this week.

Following Bhattarai’s resignation on Monday, the ministry had remained without a leader.

Alongside Pant’s appointment, Prime Minister Oli also dismissed Minister of State for Energy Purna Bahadur Tamang on the same day.
