PM Oli to mark 74th birthday with football match viewing

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli is marking his 74th birthday today, but has announced that no special programs will be held in his honor.

PM Oli shared on social media that while no specific celebration is planned, a football event will take place at 2 pm today in the form of the ‘KP Oli Cup Football Championship’.

He plans to attend the match at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato and invited well-wishers to join him there to exchange greetings.

Born on Falgun 11, 2008 BS, in the former Iwa Village Panchayat of Terhathum, Oli is the son of Mohan Prasad Oli and Madhu.

He entered communist politics in 2022 BS and became a member of the Nepal Communist Party in 2026 BS.

Oli was re-elected as party Chair at the 10th general convention and is currently serving his fourth term as Prime Minister in collaboration with the Nepali Congress.
