Westerly winds keep skies partly cloudy in hilly regions



KATHMANDU: Westerly winds continue to influence Nepal’s weather, bringing partial cloud cover to hilly and mountainous regions, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

According to the Department, hilly and mountainous regions are currently experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

This afternoon, skies will be partly cloudy over the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, with mainly clear weather elsewhere. Light rain or snowfall is possible at one or two locations in the mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.
