CPN-UML holding Secretariat meeting on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML is holding its Secretariat meeting on Wednesday (June 25).

According to Rajendra Gautam, Chief of the Publicity Department, the meeting will be held after the return of General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, who is arriving today from the United Kingdom. “Further decisions will be made once the General Secretary returns,” Gautam said.

He informed that the key agenda of the meeting is to make decisions related to the party’s upcoming statutory general convention. “The main focus will be on the statutory general convention,” he added.

The CPN-UML is set to hold the convention from September 5 to 7 this year. The Secretariat will finalize details regarding the agenda, preparations, and other arrangements for the event.
