DPM Singh urges AI utilization for party communications

DHANUSHA: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has emphasized the need to use modern technologies to inform the public about the party’s activities.

Speaking at a campaign event organized by the Nepali Congress’ Publicity Department in Dhanusha under the theme “Youth’s Contribution to Nation Building and Fact-Based Promotion Campaign,” Singh highlighted the importance of leveraging social media and artificial intelligence (AI) for communication.

He recalled that during Nepal’s 2007 revolution, the Nepali Congress had established radio broadcasting as a modern medium of information dissemination. He stressed that adapting to contemporary communication channels is crucial to reaching the public with the party’s ideology, principles, and achievements.

Singh warned that failure to utilize AI and digital platforms effectively could lead to misinformation and setbacks. He urged the party to ensure that Congress’ contributions to democracy and national progress are well-communicated, cautioning that ignoring historical facts would only make future challenges more difficult.

The former general secretary of the Nepali Congress also reaffirmed that the party’s contributions to democracy remain unmatched. He underscored the need to maintain a clear stance on political, economic, and social issues while also addressing contemporary challenges.
