KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has predicted light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces today.
Light snowfall is also expected in a few high hilly and mountainous regions across the country.
The weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions, including Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear skies.
This weather pattern is attributed to the influence of a westerly low-pressure system.
As the night progresses, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas, with mostly clear skies in other regions.
There is a possibility of light snowfall in isolated areas of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.
