President Paudel certifies Citizenship Amendment Bill



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has certified the bill to amend the Nepal Citizenship Act, 2063.

According to a statement issued by Pradeep Kumar Koirala, spokesperson for the Office of the President, the bill was certified in line with the provisions of the Constitution of Nepal, after being endorsed by both houses of the Federal Parliament.

The bill had been submitted to the President for final approval following its passage in the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.
