Gold price drops in domestic market



KATHMANDU: Gold prices have fallen in the local market on Friday.

After setting a record high since Tuesday, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 1,000 per tola today, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.

The Federation reports that gold is currently being traded at Rs 175,000 per tola, down from Rs 176,000 yesterday.

The price of gold had remained the same on the previous day as well.

In addition, silver has decreased by Rs 35 per tola. Silver, which was priced at Rs 2,030 the previous day, has dropped to Rs 1,995 today.
