Nagarik Unmukti Party holding Central Committee meeting



KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the Nagarik Unmukti Party is set to begin today.

This will be the first Central Committee meeting following the party’s first general convention.

The meeting is scheduled to take place today aad tomorrow in Mid-Baneshwor, starting at 11:00 am.

Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha has called for an emergency meeting to discuss several key issues, including current political matters, as well as potential unification with other parties and alliances.

The meeting will include central members appointed during the time when party leader Resham Chaudhary was in jail, those elected during the first general convention, and the founding central members.

Additionally, mayors and deputy mayors of municipalities elected by the party from both the federation and provinces, who were later made central committee members, will also attend the meeting.
