Partial closure of Bimalnagar section on Prithvi Highway for a month

KATHMANDU: The Bimalnagar section of Bandipur Rural Municipality-4 in Tanahun, under the Prithvi Highway, will be partially closed for a month to expedite road construction at Chunpahara in Bandipur-4.

A 500-meter stretch from the Transport Management Office Bimalnagar to Nayapul will be intermittently closed for 45 minutes to an hour as needed until March 22, according to Bishnu Prasad Pandey, engineer of the Muglin-Pokhara Road Project Eastern Section.

Small vehicles and motorcycles are advised to use alternative routes via Bimalnagar, Marsyangdi Bridge, Kumal Village, and Nayapul Bridge.

Large vehicles are urged to maintain lane discipline during the closures.
