KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly regions of the country, while the rest of the areas will experience clear weather due to the influence of a westerly low-pressure system.
Light rain is anticipated in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Additionally, tonight, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will be partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the hilly regions will be partly cloudy.
Light snowfall could occur in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
In the next 24 hours, light rain is expected in a few areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Division has advised caution due to the potential impact of the weather on health, road conditions, and civil aviation, noting that light snowfall may occur in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in a few locations in other provinces.
