KATHMANDU: Former President and former Vice-Chairperson of CPN-UML, Bidya Devi Bhandari, has expressed confidence that the party’s newly elected leadership from the 11th General Convention will move the party forward by strengthening internal democracy, collective leadership and organizational unity in line with the guidance of People’s Multiparty Democracy.

In a message shared on social media platform Facebook on Saturday, Bhandari said the successful completion of the UML’s national general convention and the selection of new leadership through democratic competition reflect the party’s organizational maturity and the living practice of democracy.
