Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s foreign currency exchange rates. The buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 141.45 and the selling rate at Rs 142.05.

Likewise, the buying and selling rates for one Euro stand at Rs 163.76 and Rs 164.46 respectively, while the British Pound is priced at Rs 185.58 for buying and Rs 186.37 for selling. The Swiss Franc trades at Rs 176.43 buying and Rs 177.71 selling.

The Australian dollar is priced at Rs 91.74 buying and Rs 92.13 selling, and the Canadian dollar at Rs 100.99 and Rs 101.42. The Singapore dollar trades at Rs 108.45 buying and Rs 108.91 selling. Ten Japanese yen cost Rs 9.06 buying and Rs 9.10 selling.

The Chinese yuan trades at Rs 19.89 buying and Rs 19.98 selling, while the Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 37.72 buying and Rs 37.88 selling. The Qatari riyal is set at Rs 38.81 buying and Rs 38.97 selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht trades at Rs 4.36 buying and Rs 4.38 selling; the UAE dirham at Rs 38.51 buying and Rs 38.67 selling; and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 34.08 buying and Rs 34.23 selling. ‘

Similarly, the South Korean won is priced at Rs 9.64 buying and Rs 9.68 selling. The Swedish krona trades at Rs 14.90 buying and Rs 14.96 selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 21.93 buying and Rs 22.02 selling.

The Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 18.16 buying and Rs 18.24 selling. The Kuwaiti dinar trades at Rs 460.33 buying and Rs 462.28 selling, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 375.19 buying and Rs 376.78 selling, and the Omani riyal at Rs 367.40 buying and Rs 368.96 selling. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at Rs 160 buying and Rs 160.15 selling.

The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed, and that commercial banks may quote slightly different rates. Updated figures are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
