SAFF U17 Women’s Championship: Nepal lost to India



KATHMANDU: Nepal lost to India in the opening match of the SAFF U17 Women’s Championship 2025 today.

In the match held today at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan, the team India defeated Nepal by 7-0. India scored five goals in the first half and two more goals in the second half.

Four teams including Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Bhutan will play against each other in a double round-robin league.

The Nepal will play against Bhutan in the next match on Friday.
