Karnali government announces public holiday today



KARNALI: The Karnali provincial government has declared a public holiday across the province on Wednesday, marking Province Establishment Day and Martyrs’ Day.

According to Uttam Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, the decision was made during a meeting of the provincial Council of Ministers recently.

The holiday applies to all government offices and public institutions within Karnali Province.

To commemorate the occasion, the provincial government will organize a morning procession and various programs throughout the day. Celebrations will continue until Thursday.
