Tarun Dal directs district committees to hold conventions after June 29

KATHMANDU: Nepal Tarun Dal, the youth wing of the Nepali Congress, has instructed its district committees to hold their conventions only after June 29, following the completion of membership distribution.

In a circular issued by Chairperson Bidhwan Gurung, the organization directed all district committees to prioritize the distribution of memberships until June 29, and only then proceed with the conventions.

“The district committees of the organization are instructed to complete the membership distribution by June 29 (Asar 15), keeping in mind the youth who have yet to acquire membership in their respective wards, municipalities, provincial, and parliamentary constituencies,” the two-point circular stated.

Gurung also urged the committees to continue preparations for the upcoming fifth national general convention of Tarun Dal and to collect any remaining membership forms from the central office as needed.
