House of Representatives meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to take place today at 11:00 AM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is expected to answer questions raised by members of the House during the session.

In accordance with the House of Representatives Rules, 2079 BS, a direct question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister is held during the first week of every month.

Today’s meeting will also feature discussions on various sections of the Appropriation Bill, 2082 BS.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, group discussions are scheduled on the budget allocations for the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Ministry of Youth and Sports; Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport; Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens; Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; and the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
