KATHMANDU: The European Union (EU) Delegation to Nepal has brought together ambassadors and representatives based in New Delhi to Kathmandu for a high-level briefing and engagement visit.

According to the EU Delegation in Nepal, the three-day visit aims to provide the diplomats with a comprehensive overview of Nepal’s political, social, and economic landscape.

The focus will also include the impacts of climate change, prospects for green growth, governance, innovation, and inclusive development.

The delegation includes EU ambassadors and representatives currently posted in New Delhi, as well as EU’s residential envoy to Nepal.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the EU Delegation said the visit is designed to help diplomatic officials better understand Nepal’s development priorities and identify key areas for future collaboration and support.
