NEPSE declines throughout the week, 175 companies see drop in share prices



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its downward trend today, marking a full week of losses. The NEPSE index fell by 12.38 points, closing at 2,669.76 points.

The day’s total trading volume stood at Rs. 4.56 billion, with NEPSE’s market capitalization declining by 0.46%.

Out of the traded companies, 175 saw a drop in share prices, while 62 companies registered gains. The share prices of seven companies remained unchanged.

With the exception of the life insurance sector, all other sector indices recorded losses.

Among individual stocks, Dolti Power Company Limited saw the highest gains, while Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha suffered the largest losses.
